It’s not you, it’s brie

Ever find yourself staring vacantly at row after row of cheeses in a deli’s cold chest, wondering which one will go with the wine you just bought? You’re not alone, and you don’t need to feel you are any longer.

Cheese and wine expert, Kirstin Jackson, is the author of It’s Not You, it’s Brie: Unwrapping America’s Unique Culture of Cheese, and she has the answers to just about every cheese and wine pairing question imaginable, all wrapped in her distinctive, illuminating style.

When not traveling to wine and cheese regions, she’s a busy cheesemaking teacher and wine educator, having written for NPR, LA Times, Kinfolk, and the SF Chronicle. Kirstin has also presented at the annual American Cheese Society conference, judged cheese at the Good Food Awards, and taught private classes for companies such as Google, Facebook, and Adobe.
